Corrections, disputes, and removals policy

Charlotte Deck Builder Guide is an independent directory of landscape designer businesses across the Charlotte Metro area. Each listing pulls factual business details from publicly available sources, and scores are calculated automatically from Google reviews using a single, published rubric applied consistently to every business. Being listed here is free, and no payment affects your score or ranking. This page explains how to fix information, challenge a score, or request removal. Factual corrections

Your listing shows details like business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and services offered. To correct any of these fields, send the accurate information along with proof we can verify it against, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we confirm the correction, it stays in place even when we refresh our data in future months.

Disputing a score

Scores are never manually adjusted. A dispute is a claim that we pulled information from the wrong source, matched your listing to someone else's reviews, or misread what your reviewers actually wrote. When you file a dispute, we re-check the original data and regenerate your listing from what we find. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a way to fix the record if our input data is wrong.

Removal requests

We remove a listing if your business is permanently closed, if it is a duplicate of another listing, or if it falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification cycle automatically catches permanently closed businesses and removes them without a request. If your listing is accurate and in scope, we may decline a removal request and explain why plainly.

How quickly we respond

Every request gets an acknowledgment within 5 business days. Removals we approve are processed within 7 days. If we decline a request, we send you the reason.
